Flat Bread Dough in your VitamixFebruary 23, 2018 By Jed Grieve Print Recipe Making Vitamix Flat Bread Servings 10" Shells Ingredients2 cups all purpose flour1 tsp salt.5 cup water You may need a tbsp or 2 more for the right consistency1 tbsp olive oil Servings 10" Shells Ingredients2 cups all purpose flour1 tsp salt.5 cup water You may need a tbsp or 2 more for the right consistency1 tbsp olive oil Instructions Put dry ingredients in the blender and pulse Add .5 cup water and oil to the mix and pulse 5 or 6 times. If dry, turn to speed 1 and add the extra water, being careful not to add too much. The dough should pull away from the jar and blade. Empty onto a floured work surface and kneed 2 to 3 times. Cut in half, flatten dough, and fold the edges into itself and shape a ball. Let rest for 20 minutes then roll to shape, generously using extra flour. Heat a heavy skillet to medium for at least 5 minutes. Place the shell in the pan and cook for at least 3 minutes. After 1 minute, check the bottom for browning, careful not to let it burn. Add a big dollop of cashew cream and spread evenly. Add any other toppings you'd like. Remove after 4 another 2 minutes.
