Born and raised in the GVRD Mikeila has always loved the diverse range of cultures and cuisines Vancouver has to offer. After riding and training horses until the age of 21, she decided to switch gears after being entranced by the skill and artistry of cooking.
She continually puts her love of books to good use, amassing a substantial reading list on nutrition, meal preparation and the historical significance of food.
Traditional methods with a modern flair is at the heart of her approach to cooking, producing dishes that are at the same time as comforting as they are unique.
