Chef Annabelle Choi has spent the last decade transforming from industrial designer to all around chef, specializing in both the art of pastry & artisanal sourdough bread, while maintaining her catering and consulting business (AnnabelleChoi Studio). She strives to be a socially engaging food studio providing delicious and ethically responsible food experiences in the form of educational workshops, consulting, and edible experiences.
Her mission is to service the community by providing skill-trading events and culinary workshops that are fun, approachable, and engagingly informative — which in turn empowers and motivates individuals in their daily lives and interactions. Guests can trust in curated thoughtful foods, customized high quality deliverance and unique edible experiential events.
In addition to holding a culinary degree from Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, Chef Choi has lived and worked in renowned patisseries in San Francisco (Tartine, Craftsman & Wolves), and was responsible for establishing Matchstick Coffee Roasters bread and pastry line up here Vancouver. She spends her time asking questions that pertain to the need of a product and how to best honor every individuals narrative, while her projects and collaborations are celebrated as both accessible, experimental, and honest to good fun.
