Green Chia Smoothie

This green smoothie will have you feeling superb. This is a versatile recipe that can be made with any fruits or vegetables.You won’t believe how healthy, creamy and tasty this smoothie is.

Tip: add the chia seeds at the end to retain some of the texture.

Ingredients
1 cup (150g) fresh pineapple pieces
2 kiwi fruits, halved *
1 ripe avocado, halved – discard the stone and skin
200g natural Greek-style yogurt
½ cup (125ml) orange juice
Several small ice cubes (about ¼ cup)
1 tbsp fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp chia seeds

Method
Add the pineapple, kiwi, avocado, yogurt, orange juice, ice and mint to the blender.
Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. Add the chia seeds, pulse 2-3 times.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Tips
The skin can be left on the kiwi fruit if desired.
