At Cook Culture, we’re invested in kids – they’re our champions of the future, and we make education about food issues a top priority around the dinner table. There are many opportunities in our food system and community that must be better understood, and worked on, to ensure a our future generations can live long and healthy lives.
How it Works:
1. We Demonstrate
We believe that kids are innately gifted and that a good teacher shares knowledge, trusts their students and gives them responsibility. So that’s the philosophy we use – we start with a detailed demonstration.
2. Then it’s their turn
This is where we let the kids fully experience hands-on cooking, and only intervene when appropriate to ensure a personalised attention and safe experience.
Teaching our children basic cooking skills enables them to be engaged, and confident, in the kitchen – they connect to their food and understand the process of making whole food from scratch. Best of all, they pitch in more often!
Building FUN and engaging classes for kids is really important to us and we’d love to know more from you. You can send us a note directly from our contact us page.
