Tap into the vivacious spirit of Spain and grab a couple friends to learn different Spanish cooking techniques in our Spanish Cooking Class! These recipes are applied to vegetables (but can be used for fish or meat too) and will give you the skills to create your own spin on a tapas party. In our Spanish Cooking Class you’ll learn the Spanish style of eating a series of small shareable plates creates a great environment for a lively soiree, as well as a exciting way to get a balanced Pant Forward (can be vegan if requested) meal. With a hands on focus, this class will bring you through some of the different flavours of Spain with traditional cooking methods and seasonal ingredients! Traditionally, cultures around the world use very little or no animal products in their cuisine as plants have always been abundant and easy to harvest, especially in hot and tropical climates.
Our hands on Spanish cooking class is set in a large communal teaching kitchen, which is similar to a home kitchen, just bigger! You will learn shoulder to shoulder from the instructor along with the other guests. After you learn to make the meal, everyone will sit together and enjoy the meal family style. In all of our classes, other than Knife Skills, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.
