In North America, and the developed Westernized world, being raised to believe that Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrates, are the building blocks (or the devil, as in the case of Atkins or Keto) of our diet is indicative of a typical diet, which has been sold to us by industry and government as ‘healthy’, for decades. All of the latest, most credible, research shows that eating more plants, and less animal products, makes for healthier people which directly affects neurological disorders, heart disease, obesity, etc.
Our hands on cooking classes are set in a large communal teaching kitchen, which is similar to a home kitchen, just bigger! You will learn shoulder to shoulder from the instructor along with the other guests. After you learn to make the meal, everyone will sit together and enjoy the meal family style. In all of our classes, other than Knife Skills, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.
