Mexican Seafood Cooking Class

Join Chef Luis Lopez in this Mexican Seafood cooking class. We will cook some of the most iconic dishes from the Mexican Pacific, including traditional shrimp and octopus ceviche, beer battered Baja fish tacos, and corn tortillas are going to be made from scratch too –  super fresh! Born and raised in Mexico, the evening will also be peppered with stories from Chef Luis´ home country. Bring some cold ones or tequila, plus a friend, and get ready to have the time of your life at our Mexican Seafood class!

Our hands on cooking classes are set in a large communal teaching kitchen, which is similar to a home kitchen, just bigger! You will learn shoulder to shoulder from the instructor along with the other guests. After you learn to make the meal, everyone will sit together and enjoy the meal family style. In all of our classes, other than Knife Skills, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.

Mexican Seafood at Howe

The Mexican Seafood class was so much fun and practical – I left feeling confident I could do this at home. The instructor, Chef Luis Lopez, clearly has a passion for his hometown style, and demonstrated how simple fresh ingredients can be made into sparkling, delicious and healthy food. The class was fun and well organized, and I would highly recommend it.
