There are many diets out there and they all have one main thing in common: decreasing processed foods and increasing the intake of veggies. Eat to live is all about eating nutrient dense foods for optimal health. Nutrient dense foods are high in nutrients but relatively low in calories. They contain vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates and lean protein. Examples of nutrient dense foods are: whole grains, fruits and vegetables, seafood, lean meats, beans, legumes and nuts.
Our hands on cooking classes are set in a large communal teaching kitchen, which is similar to a home kitchen, just bigger! You will learn shoulder to shoulder from the instructor along with the other guests. After you learn to make the meal, everyone will sit together and enjoy the meal family style. In all of our classes, other than Knife Skills, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.
