Basic Fermented Foods Cooking Class

Over the centuries cultures have always included fermented foods in their diets. In the west, we have recently caught on to the benefits of fermented foods as a means to preserve foods without refrigeration and improve the health of our gut with good bacteria. Fermented food is partially broken down already, making them easier for our bodies to digest and absorb more nutrients.

Our hands on cooking classes are set in a large communal teaching kitchen, which is similar to a home kitchen, just bigger! You will learn shoulder to shoulder from the instructor along with the other guests. As this class focuses on fermentation techniques, a full meal will not be served, In all of our classes, other than Knife Skills, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.
